10 – 12 months
3 cups of milk
1/2 cup of Arborio rice
1/2 tablespoon of vanilla essence
½ teaspoon of cinnamon
1. Use a large saucepan that has a lid and put in the milk, rice, cinnamon and vanilla essence.
2. Bring to the boil over medium heat – watching carefully as it may boil up suddenly and over the side of the pan.
3. Reduce heat to low, put on the lid, and simmer very gently for 45 minutes to 1 hour or until soft and creamy, stirring occasionally so that it does not stick.
4. Serve warm or chilled.
Add in some banana or stewed fruit on top to take this yummy dessert to another level!
