6 – 8 months
1 cup of fresh, fine white breadcrumbs (or use wholemeal bread crumbs)
¼ of a cup of cream
1 teaspoon of fresh lemon juice
2 tablespoons of diced apple (skin off)
2 tablespoons of dried apricots, chopped
1. Make the breadcrumbs by removing the crusts from 2 or 3 slices of day-old white bread.
2. Break the bread into pieces, put into a food processor and process until they reach a fine texture.
3. In a medium-sized bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, cream, lemon juice, diced apple and chopped apricots.
4. Blend using a stick blender or in a food processor, until smooth.
