INGREDIENTS
3 medium apples
1 cup of cherries
1 cup of water
1 tablespoon of vanilla essence

METHOD
1. Rinse cherries and remove pips.

2. Peel apples, remove cores and chop into small pieces.

3. Using a small pot add in water, apples, cherries and vanilla essence.

4. Simmer on a medium heat for 7 – 10 minutes until soft and tender.

5. Strain liquid from the pot and keep aside.

6. Blend apples and cherries using a stick blender until smooth.

7. Use the saved liquid from the pot to add the the blended mix to thin it out.
