INGREDIENTS
1 ripe banana
3/4 cup of oats

METHOD
1. Preheat your oven to 180 deg C.

2. Peel and chop banana into small pieces.

3. In a small bowl add in the chopped banana.

4. Using a food processor grind the oats down into smaller finer granules.

5. Add the ground oats to the chopped banana.

6. Mix together to create a sticky dough.

7. Use a baking tray with baking paper on the bottom and create small bars from the dough. Try to keep them the same size so they will all cook the same.

8. Bake in the oven for 10 – 15 minutes until golden brown. Don’t cook them for too long as they can go too hard.

HANDY HINTS
Add in a tablespoon of honey to this recipe for some added sweetness and flavour!
