Beef and Zucchini Puree

INGREDIENTS
1 cup of cooked, minced (ground) beef
1 cup of no-salt (or salt-reduced) vegetable or beef stock
2 cups of finely grated zucchini (courgette)
1 clove of garlic, crushed
1 pinch of dried oregano

METHOD

1. Put cooked beef, stock, garlic, and oregano into a medium-sized saucepan.

2. Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce heat to medium high and simmer for 10 minutes.

3. Add zucchini (courgette) to the beef mixture in the pan and cook for another 5 minutes.

4. For a younger baby, puree the mixture with a stick blender or food processor.

5. For an older baby, do not puree, and top with shredded mozzarella cheese.

6. Serve alone, or with cooked pasta of your choice.
